Konya Metropolitan Municipality is a public institution. It gained the status of Metropolitan Municipality in 1982, it has 22 departments, 89 branch offices and approximately 10.000 employees. It is the largest municipality in Türkiye covering an area nearly 42.000 km2 and over 2.200.000 population. It serves 31 regions with both social municipalism mentality and technically. Our mission is to serve with a participant, transparent administration understanding without making compromises in justice and honesty and to use resources planned, programmed, effective and beneficial to satisfy the needs of the city and city population and provide high quality living standards for the population to reach historical, cultural and financial prosperity. Kapsül Technology Platform founded in 2021 by Konya Metropolitan Municipality, Kapsül Technology Platform aims to build the future with young people and continues its efforts to contribute to the National Technology Move and national technological development. In addition, we offer an environment intertwined with technology by organizing training, conferences and seminars in a wide range from robotics to artificial intelligence, software to cyber security. The mission is to draw a path that develops with technology for young people, Kapsül helps the development of projects by providing support in national and international competitions and helps the project come to life with corporate partners. In this way, it aims to move Türkiye forward by contributing to the National Technology Movement. Kapsül brings together all young people who are interested in technology and talented in this field. It helps them develop their skills and discover their potential by providing them with an inspiring learning environment. Laboratories ; Kapsül Technology Platform laboratories are designed to meet the needs of our city and develop new projects for the benefit of society. In these laboratories, studies are carried out in dierent fields using the latest technology and innovative solutions are produced. Start-Up ; The Kapsül Technology Platform provides all the technological supplies, workshop and oce facilities, mentorship, and training needs required by entrepreneurs on the path to incorporation aimed at creating employment and added value. The Kapsül Technology Platform carries out incubation center activities here and integrates matured projects into investor networks. Competition Teams ; Kapsül Technology Platform hosts competition teams consisting of students from different levels participating in national and international competitions. These teams are taking firm steps towards becoming the engineers of the future with their passion for technology. Our teams have the opportunity to learn and develop together by collaborating with each other on the platform and sharing their knowledge and experience. Kapsül Technology Platform provides consultancy services to the competition teams from experienced mentors, as well as a modern laboratory environment and advanced equipment, material and financial support. Academy ; Academy department carries out training and information activities for employees, students and adults within the organization, raising awareness on current technological trends, digital transformation processes and innovation. Through the training programmes and camps it organizes, it provides participants with the ability to use technology effectively, while at the same time encouraging cooperation and information sharing. Academy department plays an important role in leading Konya’s digital transformation process, increasing the competitiveness of local communities and creating a sustainable technology ecosystem.
Konya Chamber of Industry (TR)
With the revival of industrial and commercial life in Konya and the spread of planned development policies throughout the country, Konya manufacturing industry developed rapidly with private sector investments, and this development continued to increase with the organized industrial zones built in the provincial center and small industrial sites in the center and districts. With the developments in the manufacturing industry and the increase in production-oriented investments, Konya Chamber of Industry was established on April 25, 1974 at Konaltaş Business House with 165 industrialist members in 8 occupational groups. With the establishment of the Konya Chamber of Industry, the institutional development of the Konya industry accelerated, and the city became one of the important industrial centers in Anatolia, especially with the opening-up period after 1980. Since its establishment, Konya Chamber of Industry has demonstrated its determination to adopt strategic goals in order to contribute more to the industry of the city and the country beyond the duties assigned to it by law, and in this respect, it has become a reputable, solution-oriented institution. In order to increase the global competitiveness of Konya industry, projects have been carried out and continue to be carried out in many areas, especially clustering, R&D, innovation, export, productivity. Within the scope of the studies carried out to establish a strong production ecosystem, Konya Chamber of Industry has brought INNOPARK Konya Technology Development Zone to the city with a focus on technology production. INNOPARK, where innovation and production-oriented research and studies are carried out, is one of Turkey’s first technopolis operating regionally and established in Konya Organized Industrial Zone. Konya Chamber of Industry has established Konya Chamber of Industry Vocational Training and Consultancy Services Incorporated Company (AHITÜRK) in order to carry out the examination and certification activities of the knowledge, skills and competencies of employees and those who want to work in line with the needs of the labor market according to the national qualifications published by the Vocational Qualifications Authority. Konya Chamber of Industry, which has implemented many activities for the sectors to increase their production and diversify their export markets, has been conducting the International Automotive Sector Future (OSEG) Conferences, one of the most important organizations of the automotive sector, since 2010. Again in the field of defense industry, Konya Chamber of Industry, which intensifies its efforts to increase the share of Konya in the defense industry and to move to higher ranks in the exports of the sector, enables the sector to closely follow the innovations with the Defense Industry Summits. In addition to these, Konya Chamber of Industry supports Turkey’s industrial and production policies and takes an active role in the creation of policies.

InnoPark Konya Technology Development Zone Management Inc. was established in 2016 under the leadership of the Konya Chamber of Industry with the vision of becoming an internationally renowned science park playing a crucial role in the innovation-based growth of the regional economy. National University for Science and Technology POLITEHNICA Bucharest (RO)
National University for Science and Technology POLITEHNICA Bucharest is the oldest and most prestigious engineer school in Romania with a tradition of 200 years, made possible by the efforts of some of the greatest Romanian professors. Its specificity relies in creating knowledge through research and technological innovation, as well as through its implementation by means of education and professional training at a European level. It assumes the mission to train specialists in different technical fields that are able to use valuable scientific, technical and cultural knowledge, to contribute to the technological, economic and social-cultural progress of the Romanian society and the contemporary world. UPB ensures a performant education, developed and perfected through a complex research activity, continuing the tradition of the Polytechnic School of Bucharest, according to the exigencies and the means offered by the modern information society. It aims to create a new technical university profile, which promotes forms of training adapted to the requirements of a competing society, subject to the integration process in the European and international community. POLITEHNICA Bucharest is formed by 15 different faculties. The team involved in YOUNGREENTECO belongs to the Faculty of Automatic Control and Computer Science (acs.pub.ro) which has a clear mission – to empower high-quality scientific research, to share knowledge through education in the domains of Computer Science and Information Technologies, and Systems Engineering, as well as to offer a stimulating, high-level professional and social environment to the students and academic staff within the faculty. The Faculty of Automatic Control and Computers prepares engineers in the domains of “Systems Engineering” and “Computer Science and Information Technology”, based on modern curricula, where the theoretical aspects are combined with practical excellence. The students of the faculty benefit from a competitive learning environment that stimulates creativity, scientific and technical initiatives, personal development and active involvement of the future specialists in the development of a modern society. The whole development of the work to reach YOUNGREENTECO goals will be held in PRECIS Research Center that is part of Faculty of Automatic Control and Computer Science. This Research center focuses on products, processes and services that include intelligent (smart) methods and technologies oriented towards adaptive and innovative industrial processes, systems for increasing the quality of life, autonomous cognitive systems, cloud services and the future of the Internet, the mobile smart society and digital medicine.
Umbria Chamber of Commerce, Industry (IT)
Umbria Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Craftsmanship and Agriculture (CCIAA Umbria) is a Public Entity that, in 2021, replaced Terni and Perugia Chambers of Commerce Industry, Craftsmanship and Agriculture (both established at end of XIX century) as a result of an Italian law that reordered the system of the Chambers in Italy. CCIAA Umbria has today 80 people staff, placed in two offices (in Perugia and Terni): its public mission is to enhance local economy and to represent businesses, safeguarding their interests and creating favorable conditions for their development. Businesses in Umbria are mostly concentrated in commerce, building, and manufacturing sectors. CCIAA holds and manages the Public Business Register consisting of more than 91.000 companies: it provides several services to entrepreneurs such as business consultancy, training and advice; provides infos on macroeconomic data, business start-up, financing sources, opportunities on international markets, EU marking, IP and consumers’ protection. It has also an active role in digitalization and sustainability, touristic and territory promotion. In the digitalization field, it is one of the National Digital Business Points authorized by the Italian Ministry of Economic Development to help companies enhance their businesses’ digitalization. In sustainability area CCIAA provides support to SMEs through training and advice regarding: – on energy issues through energy management experts (e.g. energy diagnoses, action plans for improving energy efficiency) – on ESG criteria as measures of responsibility and sustainability assessed according to environmental, social and governance dimensions; – on energy transition and efficiency and on renewable energy communities . CCIAA also acts as a facilitator and discussion desk for entrepreneurial associations, BSOs, SMEs and stakeholders on energy transition and renewable energy communities: at Regional level indeed the Chamber is involved in multi-lateral processes to develop Energy Communities. As regard touristic promotion, one of the goals of the Chamber of Commerce is to promote the Umbrian territories at the national and international levels. To this end, the CCIAA Umbria sponsors agreements and develops projects, together with local stakeholders, to promote such territories as a top tourist destination and to support tourism business to enhance their attractiveness. The Chamber designs innovative supporting measures for local businesses to fight unemployment especially in younger generations including NEETs, involving local stakeholders, and carries out activities to help companies growing in the international markets providing support and training. Several services are dedicated to secondary school’s students to enhance the skills required by the businesses’ system and encourage informed choices regarding school-to-work orientation. It also provides many different services aimed at aspiring entrepreneurs who aim to establish their own business through training courses, experts’ assistance with business planning; marketing and business communication; contracts and legal aspects and intellectual property protection. CCIAA manages several national and EU funded projects related to SMEs, innovation, tourism, digitalization, and training on entrepreneurship and for the VET sector.
